Yum, yum!!!

I did a little research and it turns out that goat meat is quite lean. That surprised me since it seems so flavorful, at least from the 2 Tony Bourdain episodes which feature it. Usually meat that is flavorful has a high fat content. 4 ounces has only 125 calories (equal to chicken) and not like beef at all.

That seems like a win-win. Flavor and lean.

And it isn't expensive. There is a place in San Diego that sells goat meat for $4 a pound or less.

I'm debating trying lamb or goat at a local produce place I saw today when I looked on-line since both are the same price. I think I'm going to experiment and the try goat recipes since I like experimenting with new products.

The suggestions that you provided showed so many various ways to enjoy goat meat. I think I may become a fan of goat meat if this goes well.
