4. Meat loaf and red potato wedges

IGA had ground beef on sale for $3.48/lb and red or white potatoes 2 5lb. bags for 5.00.

Buttermilk pie for dessert

5. Pad Thai

Had dinner with friends at our favorite local Thai restaurant. I ordered their vegan Pad Thai with mixed vegetables and tofu. My wife ordered her favorite dish there, pumpkin curry. Both dishes got a big thumbs up. Cheers!🥂

6. wonton soup from scratch...

...stock to pork/shrimp filling, everything except for the wrappers. It was really good, with sliced shitaki and baby boc choy along with the wontons, and a generous shake of white pepper in the soup. Lots of green onion and cilantro leaves. Plus now I have several dozen wonton in the freezer for next time!
