Ravioli and a salad with spinach and ruffly green, plus vegetables like peppers, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and cucumber.
I like the ravioli plain--at most, I just put a little olive oil on it. S & P. Makes for a quick dinner, which I need tonight because it's nice here and I've been gardening all day!
Cherry kombucha.
Dessert: vanilla Haagen Daz with some type of add-in which I have not yet determined.

(28,645 posts)Brown rice cooked with onions and celery. Green beans. An apple crumble I concocted, using up the rest of the fresh apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, quick oats, dried cranberries, and unsalted butter. Baked at 350 degrees for about 40 min.
Stick to the ribs for a cold winter day.

Breakfast for dinner after we had pizza for breakfast
Its Sunday and since the Senora de la Casa is from the American South, were having fried chicken.
The chicken legs and thighs are washed, patted dry then seasoned before being coated in flour. Theyll be carefully pan-fried in oil with a touch of bacon grease for flavor. Served with mashed potatoes, gravy and steamed green beans. For beverages, we have Panamanian lagers called Balboa Roja and ice water. (Im drinking close to half a gallon of water every day down here!)
My best wishes to all for this week!

(56,646 posts)bought a jar of something from Trader Joe's a while back, it will make 3 cups for 3 diners, and a sandwich of some sort. there is deli ham and chicken breast, but also a half box of *shudder* velveeta if somebody feels like making grilled cheese on my clean stove top.
leftover razzleberry pie for dessert.
