My wife and I went to Newport, RI for our anniversary a couple weeks ago. We found a store there that only sold flavored oils and vinegars. You were able to taste them. They had some interesting stuff. We ended up getting Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar. There were a few others I would have liked to try but the stuff was a little pricey, like everything in Newport. I used some in a risotto I made and my wife used some on beefless tips. They both turned out well. Does anyone have any other ideas for it? Here is the store if anyone is interested http://www.virginandaged.com/

(29,106 posts)One of our favorite ways to eat them is to just cut them in half, put a few drops of balsamic and some sea salt and eat with a spoon. Very Yummy and very easy.
