What's for Dinner, Thurs., Jan. 21, 2026

Comfort food 'cuz it's so cold here: Slice of turkey breast and whipped cauliflower, both covered with turkey gravy.
Steamed broccoli and sauteed red peppers with sesame sauce.
Kombucha: Pineapple-ginger.
Dessert: Hot chocolate. The RG ordered me a big supply of fair trade cocoa, so I plan to have it with marshmallows.

Every now and then I cave to my cravings.

Cheeseburger on a toasted brioche bun….ketchup, mustard and hot pepper relish

Giant salad with mixed greens, tomatoes, yellow peppers, Kalamata olives with olive oil and red wine vinegar dressing

Lemon water

No dessert….yet

Ducky's best buddy is coming to dinner. [edit - I forgot] He's bringing some deli slaw.

Pork back ribs
Baked sweet potato
Shells and cheese
Corn on the cob
Deli Coleslaw
Just baked dinner rolls

There are also pastries or donuts, I'm not sure exactly what. Since I'm not allowed them, I didn't look.

Made a 9x13 inch pan using my veganized recipe based on the original Moosewood Cookbook recipe. It’s amazing how close my non dairy version tastes like the original. Had 2 big pieces. Also made a tomato salad with balsamic walnut dressing. Cheers!🥂
