Went shopping at the farmer's market, so I have many produce goodies: Brussels sprouts, Savoy cabbage, red tip lettuce, Italian peppers and roasting ears are just a few.
I am making stir fry cabbage with the Savoy and to go with it, the very easy chicken cilantro wontons from Trader Joe's. I am well stocked on my favorite hoisin sauce and I have plenty of homegrown cilantro to sprinkle over the top.
Kombucha: lavender. which I grew in my garden. See pic below.
Dessert: red grapes, Bosc pear, and Brie. Crackers.

Pic also shows sage.
We're having thunderstorms in a few hours, so I hope this cools off the temps because they are around 90 now.

(10,800 posts)Cutlets are presently marinating in mayonnaise with a few tablespoons of grated fresh ginger and the zest of a whole lime. I usually would grill these, but am cooking inside tonight so will try dusting them in some panko and frying them up in grape seed oil and ghee
Also, perhaps some light wine, and a brownie later.

(2,048 posts)Grilled some Field Roast frankfurters, chopped them up and had them on top of salad greens of chopped romaine and spinach, with red onion, tomatoes, peas, broccoli and mushrooms tossed in walnut-balsamic dressing. Sounds kind of ridiculous but its really delicious. Cheers!🥂
