That was not nice. My waistline will not thank you. Maybe my tastebuds, but not my middle.

(6,581 posts)What is it like? It looks like peanut butter?
Is it like cake frosting in consistency? That is the only way I can think of to get from A to B -- from a cookie to a spread -- sort of grind the cookies to a powder and then blend into a frosting-like product.

(29,098 posts)Run, Hide....quickly It is amazing because it isn't cloyingly sweet like frosting. Think of a really good light gingerbread cookie mixed with butter but not "fatty" tasting.

(29,098 posts)My french isn't that great but I don't think that recipe looks right. It seems to call just for cookies, milk, orange zest and salt. Leave t
It to meld together in the fridge. It called for half a litre of milk which IMO seems like a lot. Bet it would still taste great though. I would be tempted to add some of the fatty cream you can scoop off the top of a cold can of coconut milk

(7,252 posts)My French is from grade school so I can't rely on it AT ALL, but that's exactly what I came up with too! And I agree with you that it needs some fat. It just seems like too much milk to be as thick and as smooth as the picture shows.

(29,098 posts)My big craving involved mushing Sarah lee pound cake with orange juice, bananas, and peanut butter. Il roll it into balls and pour a bit of chocolate sauce over it. It got me through a difficult time.
