Yet another visit to the sleep doc today. After two nights of hospital study, and one home blood oxygen monitoring, I will hopefully have some answers manana!
Not sure what we will have for dinner. We do have stuff for tacos on hand, so it's a good bet...
You?

(9,791 posts)My ancestors were from Slovakia so we eat a lot of the traditional dishes. I'm making a batch of halupki tomorrow.

(22,144 posts)Do you cook your halupki on the stove or in the oven? My Babas and my Mom cooked it on top of the stove with sauerkraut, water and Heinz kechup poured over the top. However, one of my Aunts bakes the halupki in the oven with canned tomato soup over the top. Go figure. I don't know where she learned to do that.

(9,791 posts)I don't put sauerkraut on mine because I don't like that stuff. I make a tomato sauce with diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and a can of tomato soup to cook them in. My mother used to make a dark roux for flavor and she cooked them on the stove. Everybody who makes them seems to have their own way of doing them.

I make this sauce for the sandwich that I think is really good: diced pickled jalopeno, barbecue sauce, and mayo. Then I slice red onion with the mandolin over the sandwich.
Already made since I'm working until 9 tonight.
