Skillet meal - either an egg scramble or fried rice. Either way - left over diced pork chop, bell pepper, onion, kale, etc.

(on edit) Already 88, 10:30 AM... maybe a salad. (We're having an offshore wind flow, always pushes up the heat. And it's pushing the fires down south.)

My house cleaner was here today and just left, so I didn't have time to do anything else. Was too busy staying out of her way.

One of my favorite "throw it together at the last minute" meals.

....and on the side, some pan-fried corn and refried black beans for those who can eat carbs. I did forget to keep my hands away from my face after dicing the jalapeno for the pico de gallo. Oy.

Trader Joe stuff, 'cuz it's too late to tackle a "real" meal.

Chipotle hummus with yellow pepper slices, carrots, and cucumber.

Macaroni and cheese balls.
