I'm so pleased. I'd be delighted to have some new recipes

(111,254 posts)because they're gauged so that you won't get a cookie in the bottom or have dough spilling over. Then you can work on your own variations in flours, goodies like nuts and raisins, enrichments like butter, cream, and whole milk. Once you figure out how the machine works, the possibilities are endless.
Just use the recipes that came with the machine first. Then experiment.
follow the easiest included recipe a few times first.

(11,785 posts)I used to bake the bread in the machine all the time, until my sister sent me a 16x4x4 pan. Since then, I've used upscaled recipes to make the dough and bake a little less often.

(29,414 posts)As Warpy said, use the recipes that came with the machine. I still use the ones for my Breadman, though I've scribbled a bit in the margins for adjustments and conversions (such as weight of flour per cup.)

I know it's silly, but I'm as excited as a kid in a candy store to use it.

You will absolutely love it.
Most store bought bread tastes like something Monsanto might bake now that we are used to home made.
