1. Sofrit

... or, Italian chicken gizzard stew, with some crusty bread.

Not quite "dinner", but my big meal on Sundays is usually lunch.

2. salmon of some manner

wild rice and a veggie on the side.

3. pork roast

Pork roast with apple sauce (got that tip here from someone the other day). Yes, I've had it before, but forgot how delicious that combo is.

Zucchini fritters.

Green salad.

Red wine, prol'ly.

Dessert will be precisely 1.5 T of Ciao Bella's holiday flavor chestnut cream with chocolate. And one heart-shaped chocolate cookie.

4. beet green tart with broccoli, Prosecco...caramel cinnamon apples over vanilla Soy Creamy

topped with toasted walnuts.

We had company over - my wife's best friend, recently divorced (sweet woman repeatedly cheated on by a really scummy husband).

Was a fun evening - I like to be the cook/host!

6. Baked beans with ham. Simple mixed salad. Peanut butter cookies from a neighbor who does 'em well.

She doesn't like to cook, but she's a killer baker. The cookies have almonds, raisins and some chocolate morsels.

I don't bake well, but like to cook. So we trade sometimes.

7. Another birthday celebration at the triplets (sister, niece, nephew-in-law)

We had roast sirloin of beef, green beans, baked potatoes and salad.

Tuesday is garbage day so it will be clean-out-the-fridge with leftovers through tomorrow.
