Zucchini fritters.
Green salad.
Red wine, prol'ly.
Dessert will be precisely 1.5 T of Ciao Bella's holiday flavor chestnut cream with chocolate. And one heart-shaped chocolate cookie.

We had company over - my wife's best friend, recently divorced (sweet woman repeatedly cheated on by a really scummy husband).
Was a fun evening - I like to be the cook/host!

(106,886 posts)She doesn't like to cook, but she's a killer baker. The cookies have almonds, raisins and some chocolate morsels.
I don't bake well, but like to cook. So we trade sometimes.

Tuesday is garbage day so it will be clean-out-the-fridge with leftovers through tomorrow.
