Will serve over rice. Trying to learn to work with these dried peppers they have everywhere.

Hope you are doing well.

Frozen pizza, and I'll probably add additional veggies and some 'chovies.

Oh yeah, and beer.

I have tried and tried to make my own, but TJ'S is just as good (read better) and convenient. Heat are you topping it with?

I'm something of a purist -- diced tomatoes, sweet Italian sausage and mozzarella. I do like mushrooms and green peppers, but don't have any.

On edit: It's pan pizza because I suck at rolling out the dough, need a new rolling pin because the one my mother used doesn't work too well.

Flour it. Makes a great rolling tool.

No big empty glass jars. Ordered a new rolling pin. It's even older than I am, maybe from the 1940s or even earlier -- my mother's. I won't toss it, of course.

The pizza was very good and there's enough for tomorrow night.

Had a family phone call, so the salad came to room temp by the time I sat down. Tossed it again and it was killer. Every thing came together, especially the cappocollo with it all. Had some garlic bread on the side.

I'm thinking of asking my sister to call me to touch base and have a talk before I plate a meal....

I thought it was going to be a day in hell, but it turned out to be a walk in the park.

So I'm celebrating. Started off with sushi as an appetizer. Another appetizer was chips/crackers and dip.

Next up are some delicious tortellini. Baby arugula salad.

And cabernet sauvignon, too.

Yay!!! Here's to surprise good days.
