Parmesan creamed spinach; risotto

Nothing fancy - my oven is dead till this weekend, so it's either stove top, microwave, or barbecue grill!

with all the fixings.

And DH found a market today and brought home some good looking salad fixings.

So it will be chicken for a couple of days and the opportunity to make broth.

It' been too hot to really cook.

I forgot I had pork and shrimp wontons in the freezer, from the last batch I made.

I've got some baby bok choy, shiitaki mushrooms, and green onions to go into the broth.

I love freezer finds!

Dough is happily rising in the kitchen and will turn into a lovely pizza when my husband comes home. Toppings are still up for discussion.

.... but, wow! It was good!

Wish I remembered how I made it.

My chili is different every time. I used a lot of Romas that were getting a little soft in this batch. Soupier than usual..... but a really good flavor.

I made a big batch of the stuff yesterday. This was the second dinner of it, but there's still a large quantity left. I'll be having it for lunch for the next few days.
