at our Church. we have a member that is 100 years old today
and the church is throwing a party. we have over 200 ppl signed up
to come. everyone is bringing a dessert and a veggie.
the church is providing the meats, I think it is fried chicken
and probably roast beef.

I am going to put them in pressure cooker with tiny bit of water and see what happens. Too nice to use stove. btw , this is how I make most broccoli, cauliflower etc.

Going to my sister's because her brother-in-law and his wife are visiting from Tennessee. I imagine it will be a barbecue.

Yeah, I love the taste too and miss having the ability to do so -- no place to have a grill here.

Lathered the tilapia fillets w/ black pepper and curry powder, set aside.

Veggie stock, carrots, onion, celery, garlic, peas, cilantro, mild green curry paste. Simmered till veggies just got a bit soft.

Brought to a boil, tossed the fillets in for 3 minutes. Turned off the heat, pulled the fillets, covered the soup. Ran the tilapia under the broiler for ~ 3 minutes, till browned and flaky.

Plated the fillets with the strained veggies. Broth on the side with shredded celery tops and basil as a soup of sorts. Curry x 2.

I'm not sure what will be on the menu. Considering the hosts are from Australia, I'm hoping for grilled leg of lamb.

so a sandwich with pepperjack and various veggies. I'll probably also start a fresh pot of coffee to go with.

The sausages are turkey and from WF, my favorite. The sauce is what I made the other day with my 12 lbs of tomatoes! It is such a hearty sauce.

Probably a salad, too, using greens from the garden, where I have been working most of the day.
