http://the-toast.net/2014/09/04/eighteen-kinds-people-comment-recipe-blog/The topic is the crazy comments people write on recipe blogs.
Sample:
a warning that if you cook this at 275°F for three hours instead of at 400°F for twenty-five minutes its completely ruined. do you have any suggestions?
I didnt have buttermilk, so I just poured baking soda into a container of raspberry yogurt. It tasted terrible.
I love this recipe! I added garlic powder, Italian seasoning, a few flakes of nutritional yeast, half a bottle of kombucha, zaatar, dried onion, and biscuit mix to mine. Great idea!
Due to dietary restrictions, I am only able to eat Yatzhee dice. I made the necessary substitutions, and it turned out great.
If you use olive oil for any recipe thats cooked over 450°F, the oil will denature and you will get cancer. This post is irresponsible. You should only use grapeseed oil youve pressed yourself in a very cold room.

(7,572 posts)1. Hilarious! I'm in tears with laughter!
Why do people substitute ingredients for those in the original recipe before they've even tried it as is, then critique their own version of it----------

It just goes on and on.
Good reading! And clever people!

Like 'can you make this ahead and freeze it', or 'Can you provide a calorie breakdown'.
