we still had leftover pork from the crock pot thing we did before the stew, so I cubed it, boiled some eggs, and chopped the lettuce.

Of course, I've still got several days worth of stew for lunch to finish off, thbt. Leftovers all week.

Late Summer Tomato Nectarine Pasta from Thug Kitchen. I saw it on FB, had all the ingredients (except substituted peaches for nectarines, as they were on hand). The whole recipe was done in 15 minutes, and it was delicious.

"Go grab some g*ddamn nectarines and make this pasta while you still can, before all-pumpkin-everything season starts."

I bookmarked this one, because I'm crazy for nectarines, especially the unripe (hard) white ones.

"Yeah, garlic and nectarines. Calm the f%&! down and just trust the method." Great cooking advice there.

Thug Kitchen's cookbook is coming out in October, and I've already preordered it. If nothing else, for the laughs.

and yeah, applesauce. Mashed spuds with sour cream and green onion, and steamed green beans.

And a nectarine! (see above).
