Remembered when my mother would get a hot dog and splice it up to resemble an octopus on top of my mac and cheese- made eating fun. Recently had a ball with my granddaughter making faces with a magic marker on a dozen eggs about to be hard-boiled with various expressions of sadness, despair and horror on them.
