(106,886 posts)Kabobs are pre-prepped from the butcher. Cubed chicken, red, yellow and green bell peppers, onions. I'm going to broil. Asparagus steamed with garlic. Rice with a bit of Chinese 5 spice.

(2,016 posts)Nothing fancy, just S&P and granulated garlic. I like to leave the wing tips over the edge of the pan so that they get all crunchy.
Definitely steamed broccoli, but if I'm in the mood when I get home from work, I may just invoke a "secret flavor packet" item (Rice-a-roni or Knorr, etc).

(20,234 posts)This time I used 50/50 oil and milk instead of all oil, and added an extra egg, to see if I can fix the crumbilosity. And I added other things that I've bought cases of recently - so a heavy scoop of kabocha squash, some peaches, and some cranberries got added to the mess.
And we're having a big salad with it, red leaf lettuce, apple chunks, bacon, grapefruit, avocado, pickled mushrooms and pecans.
