What's for Dinner, Fri., May 22, 2015

Lamb meatballs, I'm thinking. I went shopping and bought all kinds of good food! Will be a fun weekend. It was very busy out, however, on my way home and traffic was backed up everywhere. Glad I got going early.

Also on the agenda is a big fruit salad with watermelon, cantalope, grapes, mango, and pineapple! That will be dessert. Oh, and I got raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries, too!

with my own spicy "shake n bake" coating. I made a spud salad this morning, so I'll have some of that along with pinto beans with jalapeno, cilantro and onions.

I only went partial grocery shopping today - On Sunday (gotta work Saturday), I'll head on out to finish up with the fruits and veggies. However, I did pick up some rib-eyes to throw on the grill on Monday.

we stopped at a very special ice cream shop on the way home and bought salted caramel for later.

Oh, yeah. That's what I'm talking about.

Your dinner sounds great. Enjoy!

1 block of Velveeta cheese cubed
1 can mild rotel tomatoes
1 can petite diced tomatoes
2 lbs browned hamburger.

Layer in crock pot and cook on low stirring frequently.

Most people just use the cheese and rotel tomatoes. Adding the other stuff makes it better

I don't usually add meat because I have non carnivores to feed around here. But I do add a little chili powder and cumin, sometimes a bit of finely diced onion. Yum!

Now I'm jonesing for cheese dip and I don't have the fixins'. I'm adding the ingredients my grocery list for tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing!
