1. Meatballs and sweet potato fries

Glass of red wine.

Later tonight, a salad.

Working in the garden today. I have four hours in and want to do two more. That could mean working until dark, which fortunately is 9 p.m.!

It also means I'll be working on into the night with all the produce I pick. At this point, it's mostly things like lemon balm and dandelion leaves for tea, arugula, and raspberries. I think I'll dry the lemon balm leaves, though, and make up some packages of arugula for the neighbors. I'll dry the lemon balm for tea.

Oh and let's not forget: catnip! Drying that, too, for the kitties.

I have tried to grow it, but it never manages to get past being planted.

I think it has something to do with a certain particular feline ... that I love dearly and just buy it for these days .

'cuz it's well worth getting going, as it will flower and seed all over the place. Then you can clip it and have tons of 'nip to get your kitty through the winter!

p.s. OK, back to the gardening: 100 more minutes will get me six hours in the garden today.

I can't believe I didn't think of that, but I'm glad you did! I've used different things like posts, etc., didn't think to add a chickenwire type set up.

Didn't even really know it was Monday either, but that reminds me I need to renew my nursing license immediately. Another couple days and I'll get hit with the late renewal extra $50 fee on top of the regular.

anymore than tomorrow has to be Taco Tuesday. It was just something fun to add (though I do try to do a meatless Monday).

Get your license renewed, and don't needlessly throw away money, my friend!

Mom said she wants a bumper sticker, and I was planning to get one soon as well, along with a yard sign and maybe a shirt or mug.

20oz. Mug!!!!

I quit coffee a while back while I was quitting smoking, but unsweetened iced tea has never been off of my menu. Make the tea in half of it, toss the bag then throw in some ice, and I have a delicious beverage .

with an orange vinaigrette. Today is one of those days I just can't take hot food. Tomorrow? Who knows.

I poached the cod in lemon water. I have tons of cukes and bell peppers (sorry, Aerows! ) so I thought a cold dinner salad would be on tonight's bill of fare.

convenient and rather cheap if you already have a crock pot!

It can be tailored to your needs, too, if you have certain food allergies in the family. That dish is well suited for adaptation.
