Made semi homemade biscuits today.

OMG, they were good. I didn't have any buttermilk, so I got some sour cream and added it to the milk. About 1/2 cup sour cream and 1/2 cup milk. Then I added about 3 cups bisquick. Mixed it up, poured the batter onto my new kitchen island that was coverd with more bisquick. Folded about 10 times. Patted it out, cut them and put them on an ungreased baking sheet. Put them into a 450 degree preheated oven for about 10 minutes. Took them out, brushed with melted butter. Put them back in for 5 minutes. Took them out and brushed them with melted butter again and put them back in for 2 minutes.

They were so light on the inside and crumbly buttery on the outside. Oh, and I always keep my bisquick in the freezer. Lasts longer and makes incredible biscuits!
