Thought you'd like to see my champion 'Asparagus Cake'.

This was my fair entry this year. I adapted sweetpolitica's asparagus cake by making my ribbon from fondant.

7. Is the asparagus made of fondant too?

8. Yes, fondant and shaded with dusting powders. Took about 30 hours to make 47 whole

spears and 137 'tips'.
