Leftovers from the Portuguese dinner last night, which will be halibut, chicken with shrimp, mashed potatoes, and roasted peppers.

Made a big batch of chowder today. Froze most of it. Winter weather is uncertain in my neck of the woods. If I lose power, I can defrost something and heat it up in a cast iron pan in the fireplace. Back to basics!

Thinking of everyone in the mid-Atlantic as the storm hits. Hope all goes well and you are not stuck like we in NE were last year.
Had so much snow, I couldn't open my doors to get out and shovel. Had food in the freezer but we never lost power. I can always heat a can of soup but I stocked up on cat food. Kitty would not understand if I could not get to the store.

My housemate used to only like Vanilla until he tasted the Blackberry. Now he only eats the Blackberry.
I like the Blackberry and their Java Chip

I bought from Costco red lobster biscuit mix. My daughter helped me with dinner and made them. Everything you need is in the box, almost. But I do not like them. I have never been to red lobster, but my son who has, said they tasted exactly like them.

Tomorrow, well today but later, I have to pick up the demon shovel and push away the snow.

I will do something with boneless chicken breasts because I need to freeze the excess...one of those big packs you know. "What's for dinner" will know later what I decided to do.
