Fried lasagna...

we went to a local place last night which is more of a pub than a restaurant. But we have never been disappointed in the food! And one of the specials was fried lasagna so my husband decided to try it. OMG, it was so good! It was sitting on a layer of meat sauce that was delicious by itself, not too sweet like most southerners make it. The pasta was light and the breading light enough to not feel fried but crunchy enough for a good crust. Not super cheesy but had a light cream sauce poured over the top. Man, it was good.

I had never seen it before. We asked about it and they weren't sure when or if it would be repeated.

Have you ever had it?
