Thermoworks sale

15% off everything on the site with coupon code 15OFFSITEWIDE

The latest version of the Thermapen is $84.15 (normally $99).

I don't have the Thermapen as I have other ways to do the same thing, but I do have one of their consumer quality models which is a couple of seconds slower than the Thermapen, but costs a lot less. This one is $15 after the coupon and I highly recommend it. It's not quite as good as the Thermapen, but it's still a very nice instant read thermometer.

Shipping for both is $3.99

I have given up on pushing down on meat with the back of my index finger. I gave away my candy thermometer. I don't use any other temp taking devise. If oil is ready for a deep fry, this thing gives me an almost instant reading.

It maybe not the most used thing in my kitchen, but it comes close. My wife, who gave it to me also bought a case of the wipes for cleaning it. They dried out pretty fast, so water with soap, a rinse and a cloth keeps the tip clean.

and will be getting a Kimado Joe soon (because you can grill, smoke, and use it as a pizza oven). My Thermopen is probably my best cooking investment I have ever made.

4. I bet. I hope mine last forever like our KitchenAid mixer we bought in the early 90s.

But I doubt it since the thermometer is used all the time.

6. It's great for baking, I use it for bread and my wife uses it for cookies.

I use to use it for mashed potatoes, but lately I use this cool ricer.

About 2000, I bought the meat grinder attachment. It works great with the powerful motor. Good luck with it. Did you buy one with a pretty color? Mine is black.

But lately, we redid our kitchen and have a special spring up place in a cabinet, with power inside the cabinet. So the mixer is in a lower cabinet...you open the door and easily pull it up to counter height. The extra tools are on a pull out shelf below. It's a good thing as we get older...heavy it is.

1972. still going strong, doesn't look as good anymore but we use it quite often and for Christmas cookies it's a life saver.

We also have the meat grinder, use it for bologna spread and we got a new white beater with a rubber edge that scrapes the bowl and you mix.

But your's is still rolling today, 20 years older than mine. You'd think the company would figure out a way for it to stop working every 10 years so that they can make more money, like all other appliance companies do.

10. I think they run the $3.99 shipping pretty much all the time

I've made a few previous orders before the sale over the last couple of years and that's been the standard rate for shipping.
