Although available year round these days, nothing matches the flavor of the strawberries available during traditional strawberry season.

and as I've concluded those available year round have no flavor, I spend a fair amount of time searching for fresh, local strawberries. Found a good supply yesterday, so will do something with them tonight! (and tomorrow!)
