No grill? Bad weather? No problem. You can prepare these classic cookout dishes indoors then dine near an open window.

(114,503 posts)So I have a ridged, cast iron griller pan and an old wok lid that fits it perfectly. I usually put the veggies on when I turn the fish. The lid traps a little smoke along with enough heat to finish everything perfectly. It can be December and snowing like hell, but it tastes like summer.
I rarely bother to grill outdoors, in fact. The grill pan is a PIA to clean, but not any more so than a grill rack.

That could work!
