I've done it with a julienne peeler. I lightly saute the shreds in butter-olive oil, and they're great with any sauce. I've also made zuke lasagne with thin slices from my mandolin.

I have the Kitchen Aid spiralizer.. Hardly used it .. Just practiced with some veggies.
But ... I love my mandolin.. Had not thought of lasagne!
