tomato salad, Dried Apple Tart with Crisp Crumble Topping. This was a belated birthday celebration for my niece whose birthday often falls on Thanksgiving.

Here's the recipe for that tart: http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/dried-apple-tart-with-crisp-crumble-topping-15712 It is worth the effort.

I want to keep it simple, so as not to cover up the subtle flavor. So, just cold crab (no dipping sauce, and never butter). With a green salad and a baguette.

These little critters don't make their way into my neck of the desert that often, so I'm gonna savor every microgram.
