What's for Dinner, Tues., Dec. 13, 2016

Going out to dinner at the Portuguese restaurant tonight after I pick up the RG, who is coming in from Arizona. Not sure what I'm going to have yet. I'm thinking clams in sauce. We're being joined by a friend from Manhattan. Should be fun. All three of us like to talk politics.

Breaking out the deep fryer today. Maybe I'll steam up some broccoli to offset the deep-fry guilt.

I just got in from working in the valley, but there are lots of tasty leftovers in the fridge. I'm leaning towards pot roast with veggies plus some broccoli on the side.

I cannot begin to recall the last time I made it, because I don't think I ever made it when my kids were growing up. So at least thirty years.

Oh, and it was quite tasty.
