What's for Dinner, Fri., Dec. 16, 2016

Roasted pepper and parmesan tortellini in cream sauce.

Next up will be veal roast with baby carrots, potatoes, parsnip, a bulb of celeriac, and "cherry-sized" San Marzanos, garlic, basil, sage, rosemary, and oregano.

For dessert, French sables (cookies).

Spiral cut ham was on sale (I couldn't resist) with baked acorn squash (just butter salt and pepper this time). The garlic rolls were some that TJ bought from the freezer section and baked in a bag. They were much better than I expected.

Now I've got plenty of ham slices to freeze and the bone to make a few quarts of stock for soups this winter.
