Salad with torn greens, roasted asparagus, and egg salad. The dressing is lemon-dill-mustard vinaigrette.
Sea bass with mashed potatoes and roasted peppers.
The sea bass is from our favorite Portuguese restaurant. The salad I made up out of my head 'cuz I had a craving for eggs combined with asparagus.
The RG is on his annual vacation in Switzerland now, so I'll be on my own through the end of Dec.! Fortunately he left me with three roasts: chicken, veal, and he prepared a roast beef for whenever I want to put it in. He douses it in olive oil, herbs, and garlic, so it lasts indefinitely.

(32,967 posts)1. I made crockpot chicken soup & Texas toast.
I'll freeze some of the stock & meat for other days. I think I'll try making a vanilla custard later for a sweet.

We have a bunch of veggie odds and ends to use up. Mrs Auggie makes a mean dish.

Not sure what, but the fridge is cleaned out now of perishables. I gave the rabbits a half cucumber and a couple of celery stalks. Kitchen is cleaned, so no cooking (here) until I get back in 2 weeks.
Finish packing, then a nap. I gotta be in LA by 3am. No sleep tonight, baby...
See you on the other coast!
