What's for Dinner, Mon., May 22, 2017

Thinly sliced roast beef stuffed with a vegetable mixture of leeks (fresh from my garden!), carrots, shredded green onion, and shallots. The sauce is Japanese mayonnaise (not like our mayonnaise--has a whole different flavor), fresh wasabi root, and soy sauce. The vegetables were mixed into this sauce and stuffed into the roast beef.

Dessert: Cherry pie from Whole Foods and topped with vanilla gelato. Verrrrry thin slice. One tablespoon ice cream.

Got a feeling this particular steak was misgraded. The marbling looks like a Prime to me.

A baked spud with sour cream, chive and bacon bits. A salad of tomatoes, cuke, Vidalia onion and green pepper.
