I'd like to try this recipe out too but fear that the garlic will burn before the asparagus is done.

This is the only way I cook asparagus - without the bread crumbs, tho. It only takes 10-15mins in the oven at 450F. That's not enough time for the garlic to burn. (I know the recipe calls for 400F oven.) Even at 450F, it's still good!

Everyone at dinner loved it and finished the bowl full. The taste was great, but I thought that the asparagus was over-cooked and there was a bit too much cheese.

When I try it again, I'll cut the time to 10 minutes (or use thicker stalks -- all I could find at the store!).
