What's for Dinner, Fri., May 26, 2017

Remember Hippiechick? She posted this recipe for Vietnamese Pineapple Chicken Soup, and I've made it several times. It is unbelievably good.

I'm going to make it again tonight, using a fresh pineapple. It has lots of herbs in it (oregano, basil, mint, and lemon verbena), and shitakes, too. Bean sprouts, tomatoes, Thai peppers.... Much of the pineapple is pureed.

I'm so looking forward to this; hope I don't knock myself out in the garden and get too tired to finish it up.

with sweet potatoes, Lima beans and coleslaw.

It's a very nice day out. The first dry day in a while, partly cloudy, nice breeze and not too warm.
