Its still cool and rainy here, so I made a pot of tomato-beef soup.
Im also going to roast some vegetables: I have yellow crookneck, zucchini, grey squash, and tomatoes. I will also put in some sliced onion, and make the usual olive oil-garlic-herb marinade. In a separate pan, roasted Brussels sprouts.

Grilled onions, cheddar, all the trimmings on onion rolls. And Saratoga chips, courtesy of my mandolin.

(1,451 posts)I actually bought it pre-rubbed which I never do. But $2.04 for four leg quarters, I couldn't resist! I'm roasting carrots and potatoes for a salad. Still debating if I'm making a vinaigrette or mayo dressing. Definitely adding some fresh green onions given to me
