(4,557 posts)We are having burgers on the grill. Neither of us are much for gourmet burgers, we like it simple but recently in a book I borrowed from the library, we found a keeper. The burger is topped with pimento cheese and fried okra. What a fantastic combo! Tonight we are having coleslaw and corn on the cob on the side.

(37,231 posts)is it the pimiento cheese you can buy at the store, already made up? I think Kraft makes one in a jar. Not sure if they still do.
Gonna' try this.

(2,016 posts)It's $5 per 6 oz jar, but they still make it.
Growing up, that was my dad's guilty pleasure - and we had an endless supply of juice glasses thereafter!
I used to buy it a lot, too. Yep, made great juice glasses. I remember when it was something like $2.49!

(2,308 posts)Homemade tomato sauce with heirloom tomatoes, fresh pasta, spinach salad, spicy chicken sausage, roasted asparagus. I defrosted two big pieces of chocolate cake from a few months ago. And the Albert Finney "Murder on the Orient Express."
