(9,819 posts)6. Spam is def. a Hawaiian thing. I think it is also favored in parts of Asia. I read somewhere
that people in South Korea give cases of spam to each other for holiday gifts. Being an army brat, I've eaten my share of of spam and I esp. love it fried with cheese on top. It's been a few years since I've had SPAM, but I still salivate at the mention. And Monty Python~~~
