What's for Dinner, Tues., Sept. 26, 2017

Sandwiches made from pork medallions, topped with Jarlsberg, lettuce, and a big slice of beefsteak tomato. Served on "squishy buns," as the RG calls 'em. Potato rolls.

Cucumber salad made from the "snake" cucumbers from my garden. Too bad this will be the last of them, as powdery mildew has taken over the plants. They have an intense cucumber flavor:

Now, dessert. A couple new things to experiment with, as I went to Trader Joe's this a.m. I bought all kinds of new items. One is crisp cookies with pepitas (toasted pumpkin seed). Another is toffee bars, some with dark chocolate, others with milk chocolate.
