Brown the beef and onions. Spread in the bottom of a casserole dish. Pour on gravy, I use the brown gravy mix by McCormick.

Spread peas either canned or frozen (unthawed) and "matchstick" sized carrots over meat.

top with whipped potatoes. ( I gook mine with some garlic and basil.

Cook in oven at 325 or 350 until potatoes start to brown.

always licked their plates when I made this. Okay. my 16 year old still does.

the beauty of this dish is you can assemble it now and refrigerate until ready to put in the oven. Makes cleaning up a breeze.

Because it is same here plates so clean after they eat. We just got home from their baseball game and chilly out. I text my wife and said your not going believe this I accidentally started teaching myself how make shepherds pie.
