Related: About this forumMilk Street Cookbook & Magazine
Anyone get the magazine or have the Cookbook? It is written by Christopher Kimball, formerly of Cooks Magazine. Some of the recipes look very interesting and fairly easy to do.

OP
Nay
(12,051 posts)1. I looked at the magazine at the bookstore, hoping for some recipes suitable
for a person (me) who absolutely hates cooking and wants recipes that taste good but take little to no effort or time. I didn't see anything in the mag for me, but I admit I am a real outlier. Most ppl who would pick up that mag are interested in cooking.

I liked the Cook Country Magazine for years. Their crunchy fried chicken is ah-mazing. But their paywall blocks lots of recipes.

are for ppl who seriously love cooking. I am channeling my fathers' mother here with the cookbook browsing.
