benefit of learning how to cook things ways we really like. (Something I didn't bother with the first 30 years of adulthood.)

Plain old romaine lettuce with a mayo-based (no egg) Caesar dressing and nothing else.
Husband-grilled pork chops--old fashioned ones with bones and fat.
Husband-grilled asparagus.
Leftover creamy mac and cheese (made with good cheese and definitely no egg) that I managed to not scarf down for lunch.

Yum. We're in Florida for the winter, so dinner was on our ancient mobile home's patio looking out over the marsh. The temp's due to drop from 82 to highs in the 50s rest of the week, though, and we'll be huddling inside same as back north.
