Pork chops with mustard cream sauce. I put the pork chops in the slow cooker and they are ever so tender.
Side dish will be broccoli rabe cooked in olive oil and garlic. Whole wheat (made of Einkorn wheat) pasta mixed in. I have some of those little mozzarella balls I'm going to put in, too.
Small salad made of chopped red pepper, cherry and yellow pear tomatoes, and scallion with creamy thyme dressing.
The RG has been sending me some of the spectacular meals he's been enjoying in Djakarta. Here's a pic of one and I'm sorry I couldn't make this smaller:

I think he said this was a dumpling dish.

(1,879 posts)Chicken paprikash here, with leftover rotisserie chicken, over noodles. A green salad with cucumber, carrot and a small purple turnip (rather radish-like).

(23,175 posts)i made rice(white + wild). threw in a beef bioullon cube + a spoonful of onion soup mix. extra water + extra time.

(2,012 posts)Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown? They are wonderful. Sunday was Indonesia and I think he said you'd have to live 400 years to taste all the incredible Indonesian dishes. I miss him so and feel so bad for the suffering of the Indonesian people from the awful tsunami.
