(9,838 posts)about how the food is packaged and delivered? Is this cooked/plated (bowled?)/ ready to serve when it arrives at your door? Is the price comparable to a meal served to you in a restaurant? It is interesting to me to read about what is going on in other parts of the US.

(41,839 posts)Just like you would order a pizza delivered. But, with Grub Hub, you just use the app, and after you have chosen your ingredients they make it, charge your card and you can watch on the app where your food is in route! Its wonderful!
It comes in a plastic bowl with plastic lid, with chopsticks or your choice of plastic forks *or sporks, and a drink. I like to order the green tea to go with!
Price: $21.46
includes the tip.

BTW, I live so far out that pizza delivery is a dream!
Can the bowls/utensils be recycled? That is a huge thing for me.
Happy New Year, yuiyoshida! I love your posts though I don't often comment.

(41,839 posts)the chopsticks are wood, so not so good to use a second time. Balsa wood basically. Of course I live by Japantown so I have my own sets of chopsticks (Ohashi 大橋 ). By the way, in Japanese the balsa wood chopsticks are called: warabashi 割らばし which means splitting... which is what you do with the sticks when you get them!
