Quick question. Can you freeze orange or lemon zest? (Original Post) sinkingfeeling Mar 2019 OP
You certainly can lemon zest (and I see no reason why you could not similarly do so with orange) hlthe2b Mar 2019 #1

Microplaned it onto a piece of wax paper, folded that into a square then into a ziplock for keeping.
Hope this helps

so I can and it is ok for me but don't know if the professionals recommend it

I have started to thinly peel my oranges before I eat them and then when I have enough I put the peel in my blender to a fine zest... then I store them in a jar in the fridge/freezer... I always have lots of zest on hand... discovered molasses ginger cookies are really good with some of the orange zest in them
