Ever since my husband died, I have been religiously paring down stuff I have in the freezer.. Found a pork tenderloin and decided I wanted something different from the ways I usually cooked it..
The gravy this made is excellent

(103,856 posts)The sauce would not be as dark, but you could brown the meat a bit more..and perhaps you could thicken with cornstarch..

(50,269 posts)good. A couple of cups of apple cider and half a cup of cider vinegar reduced to about 3/4 cup. Add a quarter of a cup of maple syrup and it's done.
