Grilled chicken sausages with orecchiette and broccoli rabe.
Since I have to go to WF for the sausages, I hope I can pick up some fresh peaches or other stone fruit for a tart. If nothing is ripe enough, I'll get a slice of almond cake.

-quick stir-fried spinach and shitake mushrooms
- red bean mochi maybe.. it's easy. just take out of the fridge

(1,706 posts)something the whole family enjoys ... with a "rainbow salad" with local lettuce, red tomato, orange carrot, yellow bell pepper, green cucumber and purple cabbage. Red onion, sweet potato, parsnips ,garlic and a hot Hatch chile. Tossed with olive e oil salt and pepper, sprinkle with sage and thyme . 40 minutes @375
