Related: About this forumI've decided to take tea on the veranda today
Okay, so its the back patio. Come to think of it, Im not even sure what a veranda is.
But I do know that this mornings news cycle isnt doing my blood pressure any favors, so Im organizing a proper afternoon tea. Ive selected an elderly blue teapot and some nice pomegranate herbal tea. I have low-sugar apple muffins underway and am now contemplating what kind of dainty tea sandwiches to make.
My son thinks Im daft, but I think some time outside over tea with the TV and Internet firmly off will do our mental health a world of good.

No tea for me though, I'm going to have a snack and my decaf coffee. There is a magazine (non-news) that I've been wanting to read.
Enjoy the peace.
