What's for Dinner, Sat., Nov. 2, 2019

Thai noodle dish with chicken. It also has chestnut mushrooms, cucumber, radish, and scallions. On top is a dressing of lime juice, brown sugar, soy, and sesame oil.

Plum galette for dessert. It will be easy because the pastry is pre-made (read packaged). I'll put a little rice pudding over the top. And I'll get to use my new oven!

Found in her garden, so I'm doing a variant of Balsamic tomatoes & mozzarella on a baked chicken breast. And sauted spinach for color contrast.
Decafe cold tea.

Our menu - subject to change on a whim

Boneless Pork Chops that I just bought at the little store's butcher
- If I cook them they will be seared and pan fried
Stewed Red Delicious apples with honey, cinnamon, and raisins (if we have any)
Sweet Potato

======

FLFC will be offered some of the pork. I also got some cheap steaks already sliced for sandwiches to cook for him. He is spoiled rotten.

The stuffing is rice, ham, chopped kale, diced carrots/onion/red bell pepper, garlic, bits of bacon, oregano and basil. I'll melt some mozzarella on top near the end.

Side of rotini w/ butter and parmesan.

Butter pecan ice cream for dessert.
