Had "rolled ice cream" for the first time today

A little ice cream shop has opened in the same shopping center where we go for pizza, so we decided to try the ice cream today. I'd never heard of rolled ice cream, but my daughter knew about it. We each got five rolls in a cup. Mine and the old boy's were mango, daughter got green tea. it is very tasty but don't see it as any threat to Blue Bell.

I guess if you like stuff in your ice cream, it could be good. They flatten it and smash stuff in it and all that. But for ice cream, I'm with you. Just give me ice cream.

and those places are ubiquitous in Koreatown now. It can be great if the place does quality ice cream, but some of them are sailing by on what used to be the novelty of it and they end up closing pretty quickly. Done well, it's as good as any ice cream.
